Easton Wings of Hope is hosting a Community Panel Discussion on Wednesday, May 8th between 5:30pm to 7:00pm at Oliver Ames High School.
For parents, educators, and community members who are looking to learn more about youth substance use and mental health in today’s society, we will have a panel comprised of Easton’s own clinicians, experts, and stakeholders who will delve into and answer questions on the intersection of youth substance use and mental health based on their points of view and areas of expertise. In addition, a Hidden in Plain Sight presentation will be set up from 5 pm – 7:30 pm. This presentation is an opportunity for parents, teachers and others who work with adolescents to experience and explore the environment of a teenager and learn to spot signs of possible substance use and risky behavior.
Panelists:
Carols Perez, Director of DEIA at Easton Public Schools
Christopher Aker, School Resource Officer at Oliver Ames High School
Marci DaCamara, Executive Director of Be Inspired Counseling
Stephanie Cantave, Mental Health Liaison for the Town of Easton
Teresa Davenport, School Psychologist at Easton Middle School
Pizza and refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP so we can accommodate food and space for everyone.
